This is one of my favourite quotes from American architect Louis Khan as it perfectly captures just how emotionally powerful architecture can be. Enter stage right, the incomparable Sydney Opera House, accordingly paired with Ellery’s incomparable flares.
Currently on a flight to Switzerland (thank you free onboard wifi!!!), and looking at these pictures I can’t help feeling grateful for my stunning city and all of the other incredible places around the world that I am on way to explore. Amidst all the sadness in the world sometimes it pays to take a second to remind yourself of all of the beauty, positivity and incredible achievements human beings have worked together to create.
